Neopets is a virtual community, in short you adopt or create virtual pets called Neopets and take care of them, play games and make friends. But in fact Neopets is much more, in itself it has its own economy and way of life; you can battle with others and compete to see who can get the best scores in games, the strongest pets and the most Neopoints (the local currency). Tons of new things are added each day, so you are never bored, whether it is a new colour to paint your pet, new items, new games or even a new world it is always something to look forward to. It teaches responsibility with taking care of pets and the value of money, without actually losing anything physical. It is amazing how involved you can get.
