---How to Raise Your Pet's Stats---

There are many ways to raise your pet's stats, here are some suggestions.

Training School
The training school is not always a good choice, especially if you do not have any spare codestones. The training school always asks for a certain amount of randomly chosen codestones for every course, depending on your pet's level. (The higher level, the more codestones.). This method usually only gives you one point up of whatever area you choose, but occasionally you may get a "Super Bonus" of 2, 3, or even 4 points! It happens randomly, just like a Random Event. Codestones can be very expensive, around 3,500 or even more Neopoints in user shops. The only other way to find these is by random events. So if you find any on the floor, why not save it? You may need it in the future.

Kitchen Quest
Kitchen Quests can be very expensive, but sometimes you'll get a cheap one. Or if you buy the items asked for in the main shops they aren't quite as expensive. Sometimes you'll get Neopoints or even items, not stat raising, but sometimes you do. You never know. :)

Tyrannian Quests (disappeared)
These quests are usually cheap, as they usually ask for various omelettes. You don't always get a stat raising from this either, but it is usually worth it anyways as you can pull these off for cheap, or nothing!

Faerie Quests
Faerie Quests are a very good way to raise your pet's stats, especially if you are lucky enough to get one from the Queen Faerie herself. These quests are commonly cheap, and will give your pet a reasonable amount of points in a certain area, according to the faerie. See the General Guide for more information.

Random Events
There are a lot of random events that can help your pet. I have seen several that regain it's lost hit points, and one I get a lot that will randomly raise your pet's level!

Wheel of Excitement
This wheel lets you regain lost hit points, and randomly raise your pet's ability levels!

Faerie Abilities
Blessing your pet with faeries will give him / her a ability. According to the level and faerie, there is over 50 abilities to be found! Check out the Faerie Abilities page for more information.

Potions
There are many potions that can help your pets. Kauvara's Potion is one. This can be very expensive though, but it will raise a little of each stat your pet has. There are other potions that can raise its level, or other area that are not quite as expensive.

Shrooms (retired)
There are many mystical mushrooms that can help your Neopet. These include Strength Shroom, which will raise it's strength, Level Up Shroom, which will raise it's level, and many others.

There are tons of neggs that can help your pet:

Christmas Tree Negg - Restores 10 Hit Points

Genius Negg - Increases Intelligence and Gives Book
Glamour Negg - Lowers IQ, Gives One of Three Beauty Items
Icestorm Negg - Battledome Weapon
Kaleideonegg - Changes Pet's Colour and Raises Level
Power Negg - Increases Pet's Strength
Radioactive Negg - Raises Random Ability's Level
Silver Knight Negg - Raises Defence
Snegg - Gives Hit Points and Movement Points
Spinning Negg - Gives Air Shield Ability
Vortex Negg - Gives Strength

Intelligence
Your pet's intelligence can be raised a lot of different ways. Here are a few.
1. The game Cliffhanger, located on Terror Mountain will randomly raise it's IQ occasionally.
2. The game Faerie Crossword will do the same as Cliffhanger.
3. Feeding your pet a Genius Negg will raise it's IQ by 1-3 points and give you a rare book!
4. Books, of course, are the easiest way to raise your pet's IQ. There are over 200 books in all of Neopia. Each book you read will randomly give 1 to 3 points of IQ, and you also get points towards an award as well!
The Wheel of Misfortune can make your pet forget a book.

Tumuculus
Raises your petpet's levels if you're lucky to make him wake up.
